# Simple Python Programs Part 01

### Convert a list into a string

```python theme={"system"}
list1 = ['R', 'a', 'j', 'a', 'n', 'a', 'n', 'd']
str1 = ''.join(list1)

print(str1)
print(type(str1))
```

### Reverse a string

### Check if a string is a palindrome using a function

def is_palindrome(str1):
    """
    Palindrome is a string that reads the same forward and backward.
    """
  str2 = str1[::-1]

  if str1 == str2:
      return "The string is a palindrome"
  else:
      return "The string is not a palindrome"


print(is_palindrome("palindrome"))
print(is_palindrome("malayalam"))

### Count the whitespace in a string

### Check a number is prime or not

it is not handling the negative numbers and zero

### Find a factorial of a number

### Find a fibonacci series
